Welcome again on the South and South East of Iceland. We are now close to one of the tongues of the Vatnajökull glacier (biggest in the Europe) called Svínafellsjökull.
Nowdays is allowed to get close to the glacier, but not on the glacier. The reason for it is possibility of collapsing the mountains (rocksliding).
