We chose a foggy and rainy day to hike the Tongariro Crossing and the more I talk to people, the more I realize how lucky we were. Supposedly the place is packed with people on a sunny summer day and you might have to wait more than 30 minutes for your toilet time. Doesn’t sound too good to me. ?
