One of the things I miss in New Zealand is our kitchen back home and our long evenings of cooking a dinner for hours. We got used to eating things that are more simple and easy to prepare on the road and every now and then we’ll try a few local places. But sometimes we go all out and take over half of the parking lot, just to make a few pancakes with caramelized apples, black cherry jam & roasted almonds. Even though it takes more than an hour. ?☝?
