Zdravsie Mac n cheese - original recept simona_malkova
For 3 portions:
?225g uncooked whole wheat pasta (or classic macaroni)
?600ml water
?150ml whole milk
?50g full fat Greek Yoghurt
?150g reduced fat cheddar cheese grated
?20g garlic puree or 4 cloves of garlic chopped
?Half tbsp olive oil
?150g baby spinach
?Salt and pepper to taste

Fry the garlic in a saucepan with olive oil. Add water, milk, salt and pepper and bring to boil. Add the pasta and cook for 10-12 minutes until cooked.

If there is too much water after the pasta is cooked you can remove some but the liquids will be a part of the pasta sauce so don’t drain the pasta completely!

Remove from the heat and add the grated cheese. Let it melt. Add more water/milk if the sauce is too thick. Now add the spinach leaves and let them wilt. Taste and season with more salt and pepper if needed. Serve with some cooked broccoli florets (optional).
