Despite the bell tower of San Marco being no hidden secret, we enjoyed some of the finest panoramatic views of Venice, including San Mark's square, the Doge's palace and the Grand Canal.
Fun facts ??: Campanile di San Marco with its 96 metres is one of the tallest bell towers in Italy. Venetians call it "Il Paron di casa", the landlord, the master of the house. It is the pretty nickname, isn't it?
