This villa was originally the resort of Mikuláš Röser, who built🛠 it in 1889 in the southern part of Starý Smokovec, right next to the villa Kis Scepusia (now Alice🛖). Later, when they were planning to build a new spa house🛁🧖🏻♀️ across the road🚧, its new owner had it dismantled and rebuilt at its current location in the northern part of Starý Smokovec🌆. Villa Ilona once belonged to the county of Novohrad, Count Ľudovit Degenfeld & they named it after the owners wife, Countess Ilona🗝
